TRES PIEDRAS ESTATES (subdivision)Tres Piedras Estates is an unrestricted, rural area just off of Highway 64, with stunning views of Mount Wheeler, New Mexico's tallest peak which towers over 13,000 feet. No HOA, no covenants, and no zoning. The city of Taos is only 30 minutes away, with its famous art scene, museums, food, and culture. The famous ski destinations of Taos Ski Valley and Angel Fire are also nearby. The subdivision has dirt roads throughout, which are maintained pretty well and easily passable by truck or jeep, and even most sedans. It is truly rare to find an unrestricted spot this beautiful!

ROAD ACCESS: Yes, there is legal road access, as the county has platted (i.e., "mapped") legal access to each parcel. However, not all roads have been cut out - you will have to create your own driveway to access this parcel. (This is usually as easy as clearing a few shrubs and then driving on the ground for a couple weeks until you’ve created tracks.)

SEWAGE: Septic (buyer to install if needed)

WATER: A private well or water-hauling will need to be utilized. Well costs depend on drilling depth. Local drilling companies can give you a general estimate based on nearby well depths.
